When your customers and potential customers search for you online, you want to make sure that you’re there for them, providing what they are looking for -- relevant, engaging content that educates, entertains, or informs. Maintaining a consistent and strong online presence helps establish your relevance, credibility, and approachability as an individual, small business, or organization.

I am passionate about helping small businesses establish their online presence and develop their online identities to increase leads and sales in their local markets and beyond. For more than 10 years, I have provided content marketing solutions to companies of various sizes across a variety of industries, working with them to develop, execute, and manage their online content marketing and media strategies while aligning overall marketing and sales goals.

Content Curation: Seeking out relevant, third-party content to help drive audience engagement on social media.

Social Media Profile Management: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google My Business, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and more – tailoring social content for each business’s needs.

Online Reputation Management: Monitoring businesses’ online reputation, including review sites, such as Facebook, Yelp, Google Reviews, and more, fielding and managing appropriate responses.

When she’s not writing, editing, or creating online, she is the President of Greater Boston Business Network and the Vice President of HELPIS, a non-profit based in Burlington, MA.


Before venturing out on her own, Emily was a co-founder and co-owner of Solidus Editorial Solutions, providing writing, editing, and consulting services to small businesses. Prior to founding Solidus, she managed the publishing operations and was an analyst for a Boston-based education research firm. And she was an editorial assistant for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, as well as a writer and editor for various companies, agencies, news outlets.


Emily holds a B.A. in English and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She has completed post-graduate work in English and American Literature at Harvard University. She is a member of the Tamarack Writers, a group of writers who gather on the banks of Big Moose Lake in the Adirondacks every summer to share their creative writing. Additionally, Emily teaches children’s theater for various organizations and frequently writes short children's plays.
